Ingredients
- 2 lbs pork belly or pork shoulder
- 1/2 cup Bali’s Best® Sweet Soy
- 1 tsp Chabe® Sambal Chili Sauce
- 2 shallots, pureed
- 1 head of garlic, pureed
- 2-inch piece of ginger, minced
- 2 Tbsp white wine
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 Tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Mix all the sauce ingredients in a bowl.
- Sear the pork in a pot or pressure cooker until browned.
- Add the sauce to the pot.
- Pressure cook for 30 minutes, then let the pressure release naturally. Or simmer on the stove for about 1hour, until the meat is tender.
- Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, buns or tortilla chips.
